Chris is a strategy and operations consultant with six years of experience in private and commercial business advisory. Prior to joining The Burnie Group, Chris worked at Deloitte Australia as a Client Manager, leading engagements in the Business Advisory Services and Commercial Advisory practices.
Chris’s experience includes: organizational transformation, change management, strategic planning, digital stakeholder engagement.
Chris completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at The University of Melbourne and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
Chris has a passion for self-improvement and the dedication to achieve it. Outside of work, you will find Chris out for a hike, enjoying a coffee, or at the local with his mates.
Courtney is a marketing specialist with expertise in copywriting, SEO and social media content creation. Prior to joining the Burnie Group, Courtney held roles at the Heart Foundation NZ, AIA NZ (formerly Sovereign Group), Bank of Queensland and Home Trust Company. Courtney is also a freelance writer, and a regular contributor to music blogs and magazines.
Courtney’s experience includes: marketing, social media management, journalism, editing and copywriting.
Courtney earned her Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and her Honours Bachelor of Arts from Western University with Dean’s List honours. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys solo travel, photography, painting and yoga.
Nisha is a software engineer with experience in design and development of software programs. She is experienced in RPA process analysis, process improvement, bot development, and infrastructure setup. Prior to joining The Burnie Group, Nisha worked as an RPA developer at RpaBotPro, and as a telecommunications sales associate at S&P Data.
Nisha’s experience includes: software design and development, RPA process analysis, and customer support.
Nisha earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, and an Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering Technology from Centennial College. She is trained in BluePrism and UIPath, and certified in Automation Anywhere Advanced RPA. When she is not working, Nisha likes to read, cook, watch classic Bollywood movies and spend time with family.
Jesse specializes in working through the strategic change process, from high level strategy to implementation and operations. His holistic view has enabled him to develop and execute strategy at a range of organizations, including not-for-profits, start ups and corporations. Prior to joining The Burnie Group, Jesse worked as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at SecureDLT, an early stage start-up in the blockchain industry, and in various roles at Bell, including Strategy Specialist and Operations Manager.
Jesse’s experience includes: Consulting for start-ups, corporate strategy, project delivery and blockchain strategy.
Jesse earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, where he graduated on the Dean’s List. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance at McGill University. In his free time, Jesse enjoys watching and playing sports, travelling, and practicing mindfulness through meditation and yoga.
Reny is an experienced electrical engineer with expertise in business transformation in the food and beverages industry. Prior to joining The Burnie Group Reny worked as a Business Analyst for Infosys Ltd., developing a common global IT process platform.
Reny’s experience includes: implementing business transformation programs, project management, and business analysis.
Reny earned his Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Anna University. When he’s not at work, Reny enjoys long road trips and adventure sports like white water rafting and scuba diving.
Robin is an experienced electronics engineer with expertise in business transformation in the Oil and Gas industry. Robin has worked as a Software Engineer for Accenture, interned with Honeywell Building Solutions and most recently as a Service Engineer for Al Essa Medical and Scientific Instruments Company.
Robin’s experience includes: software engineering, robotic process automation, business analysis, engineering management, customer service, and project management.
Robin earned his Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karunya University. In his free time, Robin enjoys playing the guitar, taking in a game of table tennis, and exploring new parts of the city.
Jenya is an industrial engineer with expertise in analysis, process improvement and project management and has experience in the healthcare and aviation sectors. She has worked as a Quality Improvement Decision Support Technical Lead for the Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario and as a Project Coordinator, Business Analyst and Research Analyst for several projects at OntarioMD. Most recently, she was a Pricing and Optimization Analyst in revenue management at Porter Airlines.
Jenya’s experience includes: Healthcare system, IT, aviation, academic research and publication, operations research, applied mathematics, business analysis, project management and process improvement.
Jenya earned her Master of Applied Science and Bachelor of Applied Science degrees at the University of Toronto. Her academic research on optimization of radiosurgery treatment has been published in TOP, the official journal of the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Research. When not at work, Jenya writes and publishes her poetry and fiction, plays guitar, builds and rides bicycles, builds robots and runs half marathons.
Bret is a dynamic strategy and operations consultant with over five years of experience helping clients develop bold new strategies and redesign operating models to drive higher performance. Throughout his time with The Burnie Group, Bret has worked across numerous industries, including financial services and insurance, private equity, software, healthcare and retail. Bret is highly regarded by our clients for his adaptability as well as his strong communication, project management and leadership skills. Prior to joining the team, Bret worked for TD Bank in Toronto, leading operations and technology projects for the Financial Planning line of business.
Bret’s experience includes: Strategy and operations consulting, business analysis, project management, product design, operational process improvement and leadership.
Bret in a PMP certified project manager. He earned his education in Business Analysis from the University of Toronto, his post-graduate diploma in Financial Planning from Sheridan College (CFP, CSC, CPH), and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph, where he graduated with distinction.
In his time away from work, Bret spends his time writing songs and playing guitar in his band Madame Psychosis.
