Courtney is a marketer, writer, and website designer with experience developing and executing marketing strategies for B2B, B2C and not-for-profits clients. She specializes in creating cohesive marketing campaigns to support events and product launches. She develops and executes marketing strategies for each of Burnie Group’s consulting practices, as well as for the firm as a whole. She led Burnie Group’s website relaunch and rebranding from The Burnie Group to Burnie Group.
Prior to joining the Burnie Group, Courtney worked as a digital content producer at the Heart Foundation NZ, creating content and performing SEO for the newly launched Heart Health brand. She was a digital strategist at Tavares Digital, planning and executing social media campaigns and launching new websites for clients. She also worked at AIA NZ (formerly Sovereign Group), Bank of Queensland, and Home Trust Company.
Courtney’s experience includes SEO, web design, paid and organic social media, editing, copywriting, and event planning.
Courtney earned her Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and her Honours Bachelor of Arts from Western University with Dean’s List honours.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys travel, photography, painting, hiking, yoga, and keeping up her DuoLingo streak. Courtney is also a freelance writer and a regular contributor to music blogs and magazines.
