Thomas has over five years of experience in management consulting. He specializes in challenging the status quo and working with teams to solve difficult strategic and operational problems. He has worked in a range of industries, including technology, financial services, private equity, consumer products, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Burnie Group, Thomas was a Senior Consultant within KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, focusing on Operations M&A consulting. Previously, Thomas was a member of Deloitte’s finance transformation and transaction advisory practice. He also worked as an analyst at Scotiabank.
Thomas’s experience includes target operating model design, post-merger integrations, divestitures, value creation, corporate strategy, organizational structure design, journey mapping, and change management initiatives.
Thomas earned an Honours Bachelor of Management, Organizational Studies, and Economics from Western University. Thomas is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of Ontario and Canada.
In his free time, Thomas is an active sailor and skier and enjoys exploring the outdoors while getting in a good workout.
