The Burnie Group is looking to hire a new Practice Leader, Automation. Experienced at rolling out large scale transformations and delivering results quickly, the Automation Practice performs a variety of types of work, from Automation Capability Assessment projects, through Solution Design and Roadmap Development. They have deep experience in fully designing and implementing internal Automation Centres of Excellence within their client organizations including the training and development of client staff.
The new leader will need to be able to immediately step up and own the practice, selling new projects, instilling confidence in the firm’s clients of the capabilities of the firm, building a new strategy for the practice, investigate new technologies for the firm to pursue and finally lead a team that is looking for a new and refreshed leadership style and approach.
Building on existing success of the practice, the primary role of the Practice Leader, Automation is to lead and drive the practice to achieve and exceed revenue targets. They will lead the strategy and profitable growth of the practice in alignment with the broader corporate strategic goals and objectives of The Burnie Group. They will also lead successful delivery of projects, balancing ongoing business development to ensure steady flow of new work.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial builder with strong leadership and sales experience as well as the ability to move from the strategic to hands on very comfortably and effectively. You bring consulting experience and in-depth understanding of technology, with a deep understanding of a) automation (including robotic process automation, intelligent automation) and b) digitization (including scanning, OCR/ICR, webforms, etc.). Collaborate and consultative, you have at least 10 years of IT implementation and services experience; and at least 3 years of experience of selling and delivering automation projects with one of the major RPA vendors (UiPath, BluePrism or Automation Anywhere).
